two days ago, same fields

(they worked out just fine)

lost my phone on the first hunt. got a new one. found it today and it still works, though I didn't figure that out until I plugged it in.


now I can do this...

one tip: dont get your car stuck in the mud. some cocksucker almost ruined the whole thing today by calling the cops* on us after we blew our cover by struggling with the mud. fortunately he was able to be persuaded ($). needles to say, we didn't go back for round two. not until we get a better plan together.

Hey guys.  Im new to hunting and live north of houston.  Im going on a hunt tommorow morning in hope of finding my first active batch of mushrooms.  I imagine there was some sort of glory the first time some of you veterans stumbled upon your first active?  Thank god for google earth helping me find a seemingly safe point of entry to a field.  Very likely I will be posting some IDs soon, so I hope you guys can help.

My finds in north Houston have been a bust along with my bud.  We have found a bunch of pan ants but noting active.  I hope your luck is better but the cubes are out there just need to find them.  It was a hotter day today so you will prob find them in taller grass and around trees.  My field today had nothing out in the open but the tall grass and trees were booming. If you are in north houston, don't go to any of the fields in Klein, over by Hildebrandt middle school and klein oak hs, trust me they know whats up
