 green myc after h2o2 spray?

I had 3 monotub going with a 1:4 wbs/coir. They ALL got cobweb during colonization. I sprayed the areas of cobweb and where I sprayed turned a bright green after a couple days. I have no clue what to do. I tossed out 2 of the tubs but still have one that didn't get hit with the mold until the top was almost fully colonized. HELP PLEASE! The mold I have is a dark grey and just looks nasty.

If not from the h2o2 then why did it appear after I sprayed? I did the bucket tek for the coir/coffee which worked out fine for me last time. The only thing I did different was added the gypsum after pasteurization. Could this be the problem?

don't toss it before testing it duh...
take a q-tip and rub it along the green if it has green on it then its trich
it could be bruising that he's just mistaking although it doesn't sound like it

I have never saw green or grey bruising.....through it away! start over

Sometimes green myc. comes from bruised pull points and then when you flush if you hydrate too much you see this. Hydrate and segregate is possible but from my buddies limited experience you still might be fuct. Worth a try in it's own tub imo.

the blue bruising could be mistaken for green. you would be surprised when you think about it at how close the two colors look when they are darkish.
im not sure on the gray it could be a number of things as well...

2 possibilities
you are confused on the color and it might be bruising from the misting.
or its green and its trich and you NEED to chuck it.
but u said you had some cobweb already, so u know it was 1/2 way to funkytown.
and its not that when you sprayed it, it became trich infested, or bcuz you added gypsum.
it had the trich b4 u even noticed it...if thats what it is.
the only way it would be from the MISTING is if it were bruising.
you know a picture( a clear one) would help us determine whats up with it, but if it is mean green, you shouldnt really be taking your time identifying it.

The cobweb you sprayed could have been colonized over the top of the trich, so you couldn't see it till you sprayed it. Chuck the stuff and clean the tubs real well with bleach water. There is no saving it. And since you said it was *bright* green, that is trich. It's not bruising.

I'm not necessarily trying to save this batch. I'm more or less seeking some insight on how to prevent it form happening again. Thank you for all the comments though.

You apparently did everything right, pasteurizing, adding lime/gypsum. . Maybe you got unlucky with one tub, and the trich/cobweb spread to the others. .. Well actually, cobweb usually always forms in areas that have stale air, so that may be your problem right there. Fresh air exchange. Give them as much fresh air as you possibly can. Some people have a misconception, that opening your fruiting chamber too much is asking for contams, and that is silly. As long as the humidity stays good, open and fan it as much as possible.
