Ok so some of my jars lately have had a smell sort of like when yeast ferments bread when they are birthed. I dunk and roll and after the D&R the smell is gone and there is a very strong fresh shroom smell.
I grow on whole brown rice. When I PC I wait till the rocker starts to rock(15psi) and then start the timer whichis set for 35 minutes. It smells like yeast fermentation, and the mycelium is beating the yeast out for control of the substrate. Whats up with this is it of concern?
