So far our plans are to go to the Museum of Art, then possibly chapel of sacred mirrors at night. The rest of the day isn't really planned yet, Any suggestions?

All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter." --Max Planck

I would imagine walking around Time Squad candyflipping would be pretty nuts. I remember taking a cab ride through the city and walking around really blazed when I went there a few years ago and it was blowing my mind. Time Square can be a trippy place..

Just so you know CoSM closes at 6PM every day that it is open.
NYC is my home of 25 years and my favorite place to trip, and the place I've tripped most. Done it @ CoSM many times and I find CoSM to be a great starting off point for the beginning of the day, fills you up with plenty of concepts to carry over into the outer world.

yeah definitely man. there was some recent work by some woman with the last name hofmann, which I found to be pretty ironic but she is awesome. She's big into Egyptian, did you go recently? I was there this past week and bought a t-shirt... I bought One. It's so freakin bright. I went to a concert later that night and some kid came up to me and was like "yo man... you want doses?" I asked what made him come to me, the shirt? and he said yeah... guess I need to wear that shirt more often haha.

Martina Hofmann, she's a well known visionary artist. You can find a lot of her work features in the new book Inner Paths to Outer Space. Prior to that exhibit they were featuring works by another great visionary artist, Robert Venosa.

That's who it was Martina Hofmann. I liked her work a lot. Do you still go to CoSM a lot?

I haven't been all summer but am definitely going next month to the big 4 year anniversary party. Have some good friends coming in from out of town who have to see it.

Saturday, September 20, $35. And yes, the lease apparently runs out on that space in December 2008.

If you just go to the CoSM website, it'll answer all those questions for you instead of me having to.
From the site:
Join us for the much anticipated return of New York’s premier Visionary event, CoSM's EntheoCentric Salon Feature presentation at 8 p.m. by Alex and Allyson Grey on the future of CoSM, and importance of Visionary art..
The night goes until 4am with psy-trance, dub, breaks, and minimal techno. All to fuel live painting, dance, and ritual performanceRaw food, organic teas and fruit bar

Big CoSM/Grey fan here! Was at the Full Moon the other night and will certainly be at the Anniversary party as well as the Horizons conference that same weekend. CoSM is the psychedelic hub for NYC for my money...

So my two friends and I are going to the city tomorrow. We plan on going around noon. Its not written in stone but We are going to the museum of natural history then Cosm. Are they close to each other by any chance? For transportation, we are going to use a taxi. Will I have a problem bringing a camera to the museum or Cosm? Any other places you suggest going to? Any tips for planning?
