Honestly just start a conspiracy thread and you'll see the fundamentalist come out.

LOL. Somebody should start a hardcore skepticism thread in P&S, a hardcore mysticism thread in M&P, and then have the respective winners battle to the death on webcam.

The skeptics already gave the kooks a spanking in the great IQ debate.

Essentially, it means I refuse to answer the question "Does god exist?" because the word god is so poorly defined that question is meaningless. Even saying that god is the creator doesn't actually say what god is, it only states that this "god" thing created the universe. When asked what "god" actually is, people say things like "the unmoved mover" or "the first cause". These phrases are just meaningless theological babble.
When someone gives me a meaningful definition for the word god, then I'll decide whether I believe in it. Until that time asking "do you believe in god?" is the same as asking "do you believe in flibbledywoopbing?" ... total nonsense.

Ah,
So a better shield than the agnostic, but a less pointy sword than the atheist.

A less pointy sword than atheism? Perhaps...
The reason i like it is that people who've actually thought through their religious beliefs tend to accept it as a reasonable position, while unthinking fanatics tend to find it incomprehensible and bordering on offensive. I guess it's only pointy to those who need to be poked!
