POSSIBLE CONTAMINATION!??!!?!

boyfriend went to the bush, touched a bunch of mushrooms, and came home feeling insanely weird.

he thinks they were amanita guessowii

i dont know what to do, hes hot, his stomach is throbbing, he washed his hands when he got home, his pupils were huge. hes not stupid enough to eat them cuz they look nice. but he mightve not thought twice about bitting his nails..and hes scared.

what should i do?! what should he do?

Are you sure that dumbass didn't eat any of them? Toxins can't be transferred just via touching.

yah, i think he just smoked some really good herbs and is over reacting a bit...it was wierd though...and i know fora fact he wouldnt eat them cuz well..were not idiots like i said lol.

but he should be fine..we both thought that we could get poisoned if you touch mushrooms then like later on rub your face or bite your nails, so thanks for the tip!

Do not panic.  It is unlikely he could have picked up poisoning that way.  And if he did it takes hours, even days, for the effect to cause alarm.

Just calm down and explain the situation to the control center.

rumors like that piss me off because they freak people out unnecessarily.  Keep an eye on him though and I would still call the center.  They are experts, and we aren't.

does squishing one in your hand and then eating a bisquit cause unfocused and lightheaded feelings? or could that just be...unrelated as well

i dunno man, herbs dont cause 'feelings of bursting inside of a stomach'...maybe...maybe there was more to just the herb. never know these days unless you grow it yourself lol

sounds like the weed did it.
  I haver had many wierd things happen with weeds...
  heart pounding, stomache cramps ect...

Most mushrooms you can chew in your mouth and spit out and have no ill effects...

Theres a video of a known mycologist asking a student or member on a hunt to chew on a poisonous mushrooms without him telling him, then he says "now you dont want to swallow it because its poisonous" and the member kept spitting for 5 minutes straight  (or something like that i dont really remembet) curecat posted the video lol
