mushroom hunting from western Mass. yet another adventure into the wilderness has yielded at least two intriguing candidates.

i found these growing from several dead and rotting trees, (perhaps oak?)
they are small and brown, slightly transparent.








these were growing among some dying wood, as well as a swamp and just leaves. although i can't be sure, i believe them to be of the same species, further along in their development. provided are comparison shots.







this was just on the ground underneath a blueberry bush




this one doesnt look promising, but i figured i'd let someone else come to that conclusion





hopefully at least one of these is possibly active.

I see no active mushrooms. Nice pictures though! I would think your best bet to find actives would be Panaeolus Subbalteatus

really? those little buggers growing from the dead tree arent anything? i could've sworn i've seen mushrooms just like that online called active. what are they?

There are very few active mushrooms that grow directly off of decaying trees. There are some gym species but they can be difficult for inexperienced hunters to identify. If you want ID's you will need to post more information.
