Habitat:
growing on cow dung in a grassy meadow just west of flagstaff, AZ. full sun.

Gills:
brown, attached, gills, perpendicular to stem

Stem:
1" length, 1/8" diam., light brown, smooth, solid, thin.

Cap:
1" diam, copper-brown, smooth to slightly wrinkled, spherical, convex/concave i dunno ... the cap is dome shaped.

Spore print color:
jet black

Bruising:
purple/black around the rim of the cap.

Other information:
smells like a mushroom

It looks like that spore print is dark purple brown.

You have Psilocybe Coprophilia, I believe.

I don't see striations on the cap like you do when they are wet sometimes.  But these are dry.  I think you're correct.  Some say Psilocybe coprophila is active, but I never tried them.
