Post Your Favorite Books!
    #8800768 - 08/20/08 02:07 PM (9 years, 8 months ago)

I've been reading a lot this summer, and am getting close to the end of my list of things to read.  So suggestions of your guys' favorite books could come in handy for myself, and hopefully for others.

Here are my top 5 at the moment:
1. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - Hunter S Thompson
2. Cat's Cradle - Kurt Vonnegut
3. Great Expectations - Charles Dickins
4. On The Road - Jack Kerouac
5. Cannery Row - John Steinbeck

BLOW: How a Small-Town Boy Made $100 Million with the Medellin Cocaine Cartel and Lost It All

The book version of the movie Blow. Wayyy better and more detailed then the movie. Once you've read the book, you realize the movie doesn't do much justice to the story at all....

Nineteen Eighty-Four (George Orwell)

You have probably already read that though since it's a classic, if so then try:

The Plague - Albert Camus

Which also happens to be a classic, hope I have helped someone though.

Not sure, but I think you get a free car for saying that. Check with Oprah and collect your prize.
