So at work I found a sealed shot of adrenaline and brought it home with me. I'm almost positive it has no recreational value, and I'm not planning on using it, I just brought it home because I thought it was kind of cool for some reason..
But, just checking! Does pure adrenaline have any recreational value? It's a 300ug auto-injector.

Lol. You made me think of that scene in Pulp Fiction where the women ODs on Heroin. Save it for that! (Don't think that would actually work, but then again I've never researched what to do in event of an OD)

i think everyone reading this is goin to think of that movie
its one of the best scenes
but id imagine you could use it recreationaly for say a type of steroid
is it possible to overdose on addrenaline?
and if its an auto-injector would all of the solution be used at once or can you control how much is injected?
im also curious about adrenalin as you can see

Adrenaline is for people who go into anaphalactic shock(sp?). It jumpstarts the heart and lungs.
Im almost positive there is no rec. value. But I am also pretty sure it would help in the event of an opiate OD.

I'm sure too much could cause heart failure? It seems pretty like a logical scenario.

It could help keep you awake so your vitals don't shut down it would seem, but you would still have to get the drugs out of your system.

Yeah, I'll just keep it around in the unlikely event of an OD. I only dabble with oxy, no heroin.

One of my friends once asked me to hit him with an adrenaline autoinjector. We thought it might have recreational value. We filmed it to put on youtube or whatever. We learnt two things:
1) the needle is a freakin' 21 gauge and it's spring powered so it hurts like the bejesus
2) you get maybe a slightly raised heart rate? that's it.
Big disappointment and not worth the pain of injection.

There's no "adrenaline rush" because that's really endorphins in the brain that are released at the same time as adrenaline, and injecting it doesn't give you the endorphins.
Adrenaline doesn't get into the brain - it's only a drug for your muscles, so it's not much fun really. Kinda sucks. We thought we'd found this potentially fun new thing for us to abuse.

Adrenochrome is oxidized adrenaline, introduce a little air somehow and let it sit for a while till it turns pink. Not very fun from what i've heard though.
