Best way to sterilize plastic syringes after use?

This is how I did it, but Im not sure if its sterile enough:
Basically, I just wrap them in tinfoil, throw them in the pressure cooker. Would I need to clean out the spores inside first? This is my first time sterilizing used syringes, and Im still a big newbie.
Once again, thanks to all those who reply, and those who endure my dumbass questions.

You could probably do that. You could also boil some water up, suck the boiling water into the syringe a few times and squirt it out, and then suck some more boiling water up into it, leave it in, flame needle put on cap and let cool. That way you'd have sterile water and sterile syringe ready for w/e you want to do with it.

yup, boil a few cups of water for about twenty minutes to sterilize the water. Suck up a syringe while dipping the needle in the boiling water; wait two to three minutes then plurge. Then suck up and immediately plurge the syringe two to three more times. Finally suck up some water, flame the needle and put the cap on; ready to make some spore syringes. Oh yeah always empty the syringe in the sink, not back in the boiling water and let the syringe cool over night.

o and be cautious because that boiling hot water tends to squirt on it's own. keep it pointed to the sink you dont want any squirting on you

just flame sterilize it n ur good. if u wanna be extra steril, dip the needle in some rubbing alcohol right after the steril flame.

the spores inside will all die in a PC.. so it sounds sterile enough to me

I like to flame sterilize, and then lay an alcohol swab over the injection port and inject through the swab to further sterilize the needle at the last possible moment before entry.

Like the junkies on the streets are told constantly, don't reuse needles! Pick up some new ones online for a relatively low price, but if you absolutely have to reuse a syringe you can sterilize it by flushing it with a 10:1 water to bleach mixture a few times and then pressure cooking both the needle and syringe together. Make sure to have about 10% of the syringe filled with water because a dry syringe will not become fully sterilized. Pressure cook for 15 to 20 minutes at 15psi (100kPa).

fill them with water, wrap them in foil, and place them on top of your pf tek mason jars for the entire duration of the PC, you will have sterile syringes and sterile water.

Don't do these. Alcohol does not kill mold spores - so don't wipe the needle/inject through it after flame sterilizing. PCing is fine and I do all my empties whenever I do batches. If I'm not doing a batch I use the boiling water method.

Why would you not re-use syringes? I have been using the same syringes for edible LC's and projects for over two years without any issues.
On occasion I have to swap in a new needle to the syringe body, but using one of the two accepted methods for sterilizing a syringe will work everytime, save you money, and not be as wasteful as only using a syringe once.

I have re-used every syringe i got from vendros... I just fill the syringe up with 90% alchohol and then refill with water till you dont smell alchohol.. then flame sterilize needles outside.
I have literally NEVER gotten a contamination or had a homemade syringe go bad.
pressure cooking is more effective but i take easier routes with same results.

I wrap syringes up in alum foil and set on top a jar inside the PC and 15psi for 60-90mins and I unwrap the alum foil inside a glovebox and my lids are prepd with silicone injection ports so the chances of contams are extremely low.
I don't use any alcohol on my needles when I inoc, only flame till red hot outside the glovebox, and fluidly move inside the box quick to inoc directly through the silicone port after letting the needle cool a sec and flame between each jar.
It has been repeated here over and over, that after flame sterilizing, wiping with ISO will only higher the chances of contaminants since flaming till red hot is *sterilizing* and wiping with ISO isn't sterilizing since mold spores can land on the ISO soaked sponge.
I always flame sterilize the needle before any injection into any jar unless it just came out the alum foil with its needle cap on still, since that's freshly PC'd I don't flame when its fresh out the cap but I do inoc quickly and fluidly. Havnt had contams yet.
