Bizarre thought process. How does me asking you how you know something for certain equate to me being an aplogist for Saddam?

Did I make any statement about whether I "believe" it is true? I was just curious how you appear to know it is a hard and fast 100% true fact. Lets face it you dont.

I don't think the writer denies that the Kurds were gassed, I think he's saying that the americans have been lied to concerning the circumstances under which the Kurds were gassed, i.e., the Kurds were probably victims of the Iranians.

You're trying to tell me that every time the Kurds were attacked with chemical weapons, it was the Iranians that were responsible? What about survivor accounts? Do those no longer count?

I don't know, the only time I heard of Kurds being gassed is at Halabja during the Iran-Iraq war, and that is precisely the event that the US government used to get the american population against Iraq. After having thoroughly collaborated with Saddam, the US suddenly turned their back to him and called him the new Hitler...based on THIS PARTICULAR event.

I'm sure there have been other numerous accounts in which Kurds have been killed, but the one at Halabja seems to be the deadliest one (they estimate that the chemical attack caused the death of 12,000 people) I may be wrong, but I doubt it.
