It might be possible to fatally OD if you ate several ounces of hash... no one's ever managed to do it though, so we can certainly conclude that cannabis is very safe.
Poor kid though, looking at 10 years jailtime per drug? He's only 20 years old for fucks sake. He can't even grow proper facial hair yet, and they want to lock him up for most of the rest of his life?

Even though there is an LD50 for mice, there is no lethal dose for humans when ingesting weed,shrooms, or LSD because our brains are different. Our brains can become saturated which blocks any further metabolizing of the active ingredients while mice cant. Still, LSD may cause a OD like reaction but you are more of a harm to yourself then a lethal dose of LSD is.

So you're telling me mice brains have infinite receptors?
Just because the lethal human dose is above the dosage range that's been explored doesn't mean that there is no lethal dose. That's just silly. The lethal dose is simply so high that these drugs are trememdously, almost immeasurably safe

I was saying that mice brains can not become saturated which means that they will just keep metabolizing the active chemicals until they eventually OD while our brains will just saturate and stop absorbing the active chemicals.
