Does anyone else enjoy tripping alone more than with other people.... With me, depending on the people and setting, I end up caring a lot about how the other people are feeling. I love nothing more than guiding and helping people through their experiences. I don't want to sound selfish, but focusing on everyone else sometimes takes away from my own personal experience. I don't get to focus about whats going in my journey. I have guided people through bad situations many times, any there is nothing happier than helping a friend in need. I'm flattered when friends consider me their guide. I would like to trip with someone on my level. Someone who would ponder the universe with me.and someone I wouldn't have to worry about the whole time(sorry if I'm sounding selfish) the best trips I had were with other people, but so were some of the most difficult. When Im alone, I focus inward on my own experiecne and these end up being the most spiritual. I just wanted to know what you guys thought

I like tripping around my best friends otherwise id rather just trip by myself.

My friends usually blow my mind with craziness when I trip with them, so I prefer alone outdoors.

I enjoy going it alone unless im with people on my level. I focus a lot on how the other people are feeling as well. And yes, it can take away from your own personal experience. Only 1 of my friends I can trip with and not worry, and I love trippin with him, he always makes me smile. And we always make each other laugh.
I guess with me recently, I've been giving a lot of people their first trips, so I hafta make sure they are alright. It's rare (lately) that I get to trip and not worry about the other people. And then there are some people that are like "I want to trip with you..." because of how I talk about things with them. But they can never let go and don't understand. So I end up dealing with them the whole time and try to make them have a good experience.
Unless I trip alone, like I said, I'm too concerned with other people. Need to find someone who can handle their shit, and someone who won't worry about me unless things start to go really bad. A lot of times I'll just lose myself in myself, and everything is all good but people worry. Last time I took an eighth I kept going in and out of consciousness and people were worried, but I couldnt communicate that I was fine. I couldn't hold my head up, my body was... useless. It was just my mind... nothing else that I was focused on. They worried, but everything was fine. You always come out of it... or I do.

was supposed to get some L and DMT last weekend, but I cant get ahold of my guy who went to a festival... i hope he didnt get arrested.

man, you guys need better tripping buddies, i guess.
don't get me wrong, i love to trip alone and just do my own thing, listen to my own music, do whatever i want, but i love tripping with my good friends.
there's a few of us (maybe like five of us) that are fairly experienced trippers—we know everyone else is pretty much able to handle themselves, and that frees us up to be really open. we all share the same taste in music (post rock and IDM) and we all like to talk about the same things while tripping (personification of inanimate objects, the nature of everything). i laugh harder than anything while i'm tripping with them.
we've got a few friends that are less experienced that we sometimes trip with (in the range of 1-5 total trips), and i understand what you mean about worrying that everyone is having a good time, but i try to make it clear to them that while i'm dedicated to helping provide a positive environment, i cannot be their safety line. i can point them in the right direction, but i can't guide them to their destination, you know?

I can't entertain myself adequately for 6 hours. I like being able to roll around in a stupor with my friends than alone.

yeah entertaining oneself is probably the hardest part of tripping alone, but with experience, it's not that hard. just know what you like to do. create a playlist before hand so you dont hafta worry about music. get a few trip toys available so you dont hafta go looking. have a good movie ready to go... whatever it is.
i no longer have this problem, i can entertain myself. at first though i could not and I'd need others around me to stay entertained.

Tripping alone is my favorite, your mind can focus more on pushing out visuals etc.. However, my tripping buddy and I have a guideline which basically put is, when we are peaking we leave each other alone and let our minds throw whatever they want back at themselves. It's much better than having to focus on things like talking.
