it will start to have little knots on it and then develop small pins.  if it is producing mycelium on the cake, then there is either too much humidity or not enough fae.  too much co2 will make it stay in colonization mode.  what kind of strain is it? and do you have any pictures?  it might just be a slow fruiter. i am still learning so  maybe someone with more experience will chime in.

and if you mist before and after fanning, you might be misting it too much.  is there stagnant water in the bottom of you fc?

in the first pic it actually looks like there might be a small pin, but cant really tell.  they look good  looks like some knots forming on the side.  i wouldn't be handling them though.

and i cant tell in the second burma pic, but it looks a little grey.  it might just be the lighting though.

you can,t have too much humidity. 99% is ideal for cakes.

is that blue bruising? if it is there could be a few causes.

misting directly the cakes

cakes are drying out ( did you dunk?)

low humidity

and obvoisly touching them.

plenty of fae is important along with high humidity.

are they pretty light weighted?  dunking is a must most of the time unless you got a really high perfect moisture content with a fast colonizer.

ok so your cakes might be drying out slightly (blue bruising???) you can sit them in a saucer of water and let them sook that up.

i would.nt bother with all those humidifiers etc the shotgun is best left as iis.

trying to make an automated setup like that usually ends up with cakes drying out or pools of whater every where.

perlite will keep humidity at atleast 92% .

just fan and mist regularly.
