Not Psilocybe subaeruginosa.

But I would still like to see the spore print.  The wrinkled cap is interesting.

Here is some more dark blackish bruising to a younger mushroom's stem.

Definitely not active, sorry. They're not pan. subbs, neither are they an active psilocybe species. Couldn't tell you what they are though.

Yeah I'm lost.

If it helps at all...

As the mushrooms dry they all develop a black ring on the edge...

Here is a younger one (I took this picture earlier, now the brown ring is black)...

i thought agrocybe praecox when i saw them also. i found a whole bunch of those a while back. the ones i found where a little lighter in cap color though. more of a tan or close to a creamy really light brown/whitish

I don't think it can be agrocybe praecox because there is no annulus.  Granted I'm a noob, but the ones I picked have no rings and never observed any rings of the ones that were growing.

Whenever you get the chance.

I think I found the same mushrooms.  If you post a picture of the print, I'll post a picture of the mushrooms.  I thought they were cool as hell.

Perhaps Psathyrella rugocephala or a close relative? They don't have true rings but may have veil remnants. They were growing abundantly on rotting wood earlier in the year, making me overly excited on a couple occasions because they do remind me of photos of active species.

Nice catch!

Could be Psathyrella delineata, a close relative, too.

I found these this year and never did figure out what they were.
