I have the Peyote book on the end by Adam Gottlier. For the price its worth it, but there are problems with it. The photos are b&w, the mescaline tek is very dated and over complicated, the worst pedros I have ever seen in a book, tons of typos, etc etc. On the positive, its a collectors item IMO, and the "other" psychoactive cacti portion makes this book worth the $7-8. Because of that book I have been trying to find a Coryphantha macromeris for some time.

What do you think of the other peyote book uare? I have thought about getting that one.

Although its not a cacti book, Plants of the Gods is a must entheobotanical book that does have sections on williamsii and pedro. I am trying to collect every cacti specimen in it. I am getting closer all the time :wink:

couldn't agree with you more about "peyote and other psychoactive cacti" it's not really that useful but not that expensive either so worth having...

so far as "peyote the divine cactus" goes, i have only just skimmed the surface and had a quick flick through, so i can't really comment much...
if i quit the shroomery then i would have time to do more reading... :lol:

"plants of the gods" & "trouts notes on san pedro" are two books i want :yesnod:

There is a new(er) enthe cacti book out. I can't remember the title but it is $60. I am after that one next. I won't be ordering any books for the next couple of months though. I need to spend my money on lophs while its still warm outside. :peyotespectrum:
