Well I started normally, rye to compost, the compost is in a container to fully colonize, when it finishes the flushes, i cut the cake. Then I just put a small layer of compost over the soil, then the cake, then another layer of compost. Then I just watered with a spray bottle whenever I remembered. Then these guys started to pop up. Then you have to find a way to keep the humidity, I used plasticware and shot glasses. Its a lot of work, but its worth it to me. It just looks great!

covering a plant pot like that with a trashbag & somehow get FAE going, might be a good incognito way for casing a sub.

wait I thought that FAE is for removing CO2 and providing fresh O2...wouldnt the plant do both for you? you could just ruffle the trashbag every now and then to keep the air CO2 from stratifying...

hell yeah, wake-n-trip!
Thats sweet though, did you cover it with something to hold in moisture or just let them grow in open air?

I was just pondering your cool setup and I have a suggestion that will make it easier to take care of.
Plant some grass seed in there. The grass will hold the moisture in and keep the humidity up, then you just spray it a few times a day. Plus the grass would hide the little funguys.
