Feedback on my fruiting chamber

So I am about 5 days away from my first fruiting. No contams so far. I used the PF tek vermiculite based inoculation jars.
My FC:
I got a medium sized opaque plastic pot. I am going to put about .5 inches of paper towels at the bottom, and put filtered room temperature distilled water in the paper towels. Then I'll put an inch and a half of Perlite on top of that. I'll then just plop the inocoulated mycelium on top of the Perlite and put a sheet of plexiglass on top of the pot. I have a blue 25 watt light on a timer. I have it set for 12 hours of light, 12 hours of dark every day. Does anyone know the CORRECT setting of light/dark cycle and/or if the blue light myth is TRUE or if I should use white light?
Any suggestions for the fruiting chamber? or anything I overlooked?
Thanks!

Maybe I do not get your idea, but wet paper towels buried under perlite is asking for rot and/or bacteria. Why not just use perlite or if you prefer only paper towels. Look for shotgun fc for a proven setup. You should put a sheet of aluminum foil between the cakes and the perlite. Do not use just a "blue party light bulb". Use a fluorescent light, look for "cool white", "daylight". 12h on / 12h off works well for me. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the help... I couldn't find anything called a shotgun fc... But could you possibly explain what you mean with the aluminum foil in a little more detail so I don't mess it up?
Do I just spray the perlite to keep the humidity up? How do you regulate the humidity?

You dont need to use filtered distilled water for your fruiting chamber. And using paper towels under the perlite isnt going to add any humidity.
Just give your perlite a good rinsing under tap water and let the excess drain out, line the bottom with 4-5 inches of perlite. this should keep humidity at atleast 92%. With regularing misting and fanning you should be all good.
