When watching that Stevie Ray Vaugh (Live @ el Macambo, ennit?), listen for the part where he breaks a string midsolo.  If not for the distortion when the string breaks, you wouldn't be able to tell it even happened (a tech hands him off a freshly strung guitar once the solo is done, but the handoff is seamless in terms of audio).  They editted the video in such a way to obscure the fact, but to me, that was one of the most impressive parts of the concert. Either that, or the heroin-induced flood of sweat coming off his face by the end of the concert.
