So, got a couple pictures I just kinda want to share. I think the mycelium looks awesome. Strain is GT. Substrate is coco coir, steer manure, straw, and coffee grounds. The substrate looks awesome. I spawned a pint and a half of PF to this. The container is about 3.5 inches deep. It's got either 3 or 4 mycelium layers. These pics were taken about 4 days after spawning. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I have a mono of GT going. It is breaking thru the casing layer everywhere...
GT is very rhizomorphic...Looks great!
here's my GT 3pts of rye spawned to hpoo/verm/gypsum. This picture was taken just before casing with 60/40 Verm/Coir...
Keep us posted! H.H.

Thats the pic bud. Hattori. That looks pretty friggin awesome. This is one of the best looking casings I've had so far. It took the jars over 3 weeks to colonize, but whatev. The mycelium looked really good.

same here. about 3 weeks to 100%, but thanks to good technique-no contams. The colonization of the rye was very ropy. I cased it 5 days ago and it is already roping thru the casing...I haven't taken pictures, but here is two days ago!! cheers!!

Nicely done. So, do you plan on letting the casing layer fully colonize? Also, checked out your grow log, fucking amazing dude. The best grow log I have ever seen.

thanks mate!
I like the way legallyhomeless goes into depth on his technique...very helpful to pic up things you didn't think about or could improve upon...
Here is the pic from this morning looking in thru one of the polyfill portals on my GT. It is coming up thru the casing layer very nicely.
Here is a pic from TX strain...the GT and the TX were spawned to HPOO at the same time. I cased the GT and the TX just put into fruiting conditions, just to experiment a little. Notice the difference in the rhizo myc of the GT and the cottony (yet still ropey) myc of the TX. The TX is pinning like a MOFO, but the GT won't be far behind and I bet, with the casing layer, the fruits are gonna be amazing...just my guess...
To answer your question, I will wait until the GT has taken over the casing layer a little bit more...in fact, I need to read up and see just exactly when I should move to Fruiting Conditions...
Here are the teks that I follow...hope it helps!!
<not trying to steal your thread either, but since we are on the same strain, fruiting at about the same time...good for comparison!!>
