dehydratiion of caps

i just found like 8 or 9 really nice size caps out in the wild again today only prob is i cant afford a dehydrator so i turn the fan facing down and put the caps on the fan were it can suck the moisture out do you guys think this will work ..?  and i have pics coming if i can get it to work

No, it doesnt suck enough at the back, Put them between two sheets of printing paper/newspaper. tape sides, and put infront of fan so it blows between the sheets, like a wind tunnel.

to get them up to the same heigh of fan, you can use.books,a chair, videogame stacks.

When I dehydrate, I just sit the mushrooms on a paper towel with a small fan blowing on them on low.
Weight down the corners of the paper towel with cups if you have to. After 24 hours they are almost completely
dry, and I use desiccant in a tupperware to get them cracker dry.

Trust me, a fan will work fine. Dehydrators use heat, and heat kills some of the the psychoactive chemicals.
Even if it doesn't really make a difference, you don't have to have one.

what about if i put them in a pillow case to create the air vortex instead of news paper?
