Just found a new culinary favorite.

The other day I picked up an item at the grocery store called side pork. Side pork is fresh bacon, without any additives. Bacon as we know it is cured in all kinds of sauces and almost always is packed with nitrates and crazy shit.

When I took it home, I just tossed a slice in boiling water with some sausages to get its basic taste. Alone it's kind of weird. Like a pork chop slathered with lard. Not very tasty. So then I was like wtf am I going to do with this shit.

But today on my way out the door I remembered that I had a few slices of it thawing in the fridge. So I took it, coated it with hot chili powder and extra hot cayenne powder with some fresh black ground pepper on both sides and fried it in a pan. Oh god it was so good. The seasonings created a crust over the bacon and it was so beautiful. It looked great too, if only I had a camera.

It tasted more like bacon due to the smoky flavors this time, but it ended up being waaaaaay better. Bacon always tasted too salty IMO. And if you try side pork, you'll see how fake it usually tastes too.

I bet if you light one of the farts, you could cook a whole meal again.

I felt my stomach come up into my throat at that sentence.

I do NOT fart!

Although I accidentally did on a midget today and I felt so horrible, but it was hilarious. Due to stomach problems, when I have gas (rarely) it's hard to control. And when picking up some stuff from the store I decided to let go a little around the corner just as this little mexican midget lady speeded towards my ass on a scooter. My stroll went to a power walk before the grin on my face got too big.
