I know this doesn't answer your question, but I thought I would make a suggestion. I recommend trying dextrose in your liquid culture. Personally, I use Karo syrup. I mix about 1/2 a teaspoon to every 100ml of water and get great results.

I haven't heard of that method before. But this is my first time. I have a partner that has some good knowledge.. I've had some of his batches before... Ecudors
Give me some more detailed recipe instructions and I might try that on a couple of jars

The only thing you have to do is add 1/2 a teaspoon of Karo light corn syrup for every 100ml of water. That?s it. Knock it up with some spores and wait for this (sorry for how blurry the image is, I had the camera too close and not on macro):

There are many good liquid recipes in addition to Mickey's Karo method.
Try a teaspoon of Honey, or a teaspoon of horlicks, or milo, or dextrose, or glucose.
As long as enough nutrients are available to allow the growth of mycelium you`re all set.
People also recommend puuting a couple pieces of broken glass to help aggitate the solution.
Your choice ultimatelly though.

Not a bad idea. I like to suck a bit of solution into the syringe and squirt it back in several times. Seems to break things up very well.

I just slap it on my base-bins and jam some phat psy-trance
BOOM BOOM BOOM.
Sure as hell know that things gonna be shaken after that

No I`m kidding, I just give it a good shake and it works fine for me.
