This is how the psychedelic "elves" seem to me. I've only had a single DMT breakthrough, but I seem to have flashbacks of the experience pretty often, especially when I've been smoking weed. When I first came down I could barely remember any of it, it was like getting shot in the face by a giant laser beam from outer space, and when I sobered up I was just surprised to learn I was still a human being. The actual content of the experience seemed obscured by the mere fact that for at least fifteen minutes of the trip I genuinely believed the apocalypse had just occurred. I'm always remembering extra little bits of that transforming fractal madhouse, getting a clearer picture of exactly what happened in that insane half-hour-long ride.
Most strongly amplified by weed is the "visual language" as TM called it. It's a rush of symbols, each one transforming into the next. I've always seen transforming symbols while good and stoned, but after DMT it seems there's a floodlight shined on them and I can see the hyperdimensional materials that compose them. They're made up of living building blocks. How is it that the building blocks have facial expressions, though they have no face, and seem human to me even though they have absolutely no human traits?

sounds natural to me. the colored geometries (building blocks) are ubiquitous in mind so they are perceived as the fabric of everything, the faces and personalities (potential deciders, judges, friends and family) are also holographically ubiquitous (in mind) these motifs and potentials which are suspended ubiquitously and which engender form with extra life and existence are the self and mind, seething and soothing in the stream of consciousness. i like being turned on because it is so rich this way.

I like to think that all of existence is connected to a central strand of creative energy or intelligence that is alive and always blooming into more. It feels as though these plants can take us so deep into self-awareness that we experience a different density of reality. Realization is self-awareness and vice versa, it's a vortex into the self. It feels as though awareness is not so much a physical process that is limited to experiencing material reality as we know it, but an energetic one that is a medium for this central source of creative intelligence.
The thought that we are the most macrocosmic and evolved self-aware being seems too unlikely. Just as cells are alive and apart of a more expanded being, we seem to be apart of an even more expanded macrocosmic intelligence.
Just a thought.
