just found -strange reds-

these guys are very very small and appeared all around a mossy tree

what surprised me was the color (of course)
iv seen red mushies before but nothing of this shade, they had a glow to them



and near them was this guy, who had white gills, with that nice lil pink center lol




i have yet to find anything like these anywhere around the surrounding 400 acre property

The first ones, Red Chanterelles, are good to eat.  Try using the macro feature for clearer pictures.  It's the little flower icon.

The second one doesn't look like Russula at all. From what I can see in the photo, my guess would be some kind of Lactarius, possibly Lactarius torminosus. But a better description and photo should be provided.
