The darker blue ones..or the more blue they are or black...the bitter they seem to me...and generally the smaller closed cap ones do that more than the larger ones..and are more from what Ive been told..and experienced..they seem to be more potent..thus why they are my favorites

The last seven..the really big ones were up in the nicer lawn ...very deep grass...not very sun protected but with the length of the grass theyve grown very long stipes...and well....caps...they smell delicious!!!  i cant believe the difference the deeper nicer grass makes them so much bigger...my patch is downhill from that in some kind of crabgrass..that kinda seems to grow like vines along the top of the ground..but still pretty deep..and very damp!! I cant wait to explore the rest of this place...i could find giant patches!!

Can any of you people finding these giant patches throw up what county you're finding them in? i'm just wondering because the last week or two over here in north gwinnett have been sucking balls. was out for 3 hours tonight, not a god damn one. I'm starting to think some of these people are spraying fungicide

I find most of mine in Cherokee......

Hey guys
i think i may have found a new variation of weilii..if anyone has any suggestions to something different lemme know...found in fescue at park..next to baseball field...and one other in similar habitat..both in marietta...they smell and taste exactly like weilii but sweeter..more pleasant..not sure about this one yet..but one i found before took a long time but started turning blue on the damaged parts

looks sunbleached...stem is not hollow, very fibrous, and a little softer than weilii, and cant be removed from the cap without ripping out the center of the cap where it attaches... very weird...doing a spore print now

i said that one i found like it before did..but this one doesnt seem to be turning blue....can the sun diminish the psilocybin enough to keep that from happening?

I dont think thats a weilii, ive come across lots of mushrooms that smell and taste just like them but are not. The mushrooms that are growing in the same kinda habitats as weilii sometimes have the same odor, , maybe its the substrate.

Its strange how each patch produces mushrooms that are unique to the patch they grow in. I could probably tell from a pic if somebody was picking in my patch cuz of how they all look from there, seriously. This is something ive noticed for years.
