Not sure what they are but its been awfull rainy here every day. figured id go exploring. Found these in a huge pile of hpoo. the little tiny brown one came from a cow pattie (looks deadly lol) any possibility the bigger ones are edible or cubies? Found upstate new york. thanks!

im guessing horse poo? And im no mushroom expert but i was on ralphsters spore world or w.e nd i saw a pic of mushies tht looked just like tht so they might b cubies. but dont listen to me... im not tryin to kill anyone

It looks like Conocybe Albipes, they grow commonly on grassy areas: well kept lawns and the like. Non active =[ Look for panaleous subbalteatus

I don't think so. The cap on these is a darker color and both the cap and stem are thicker.
This is closer to Conocybe tenera.
Also there is no need to correct people who use outdated synonyms as they are still valid.

Conocybe tenera has many variations, however, Conocybe lactea, syn. Conocybe albipes and Conocybe apala var. albipes never grows in dung. So it cannot be that and is probably, as you say, tenera.
I wasn't correcting anyone. I often add the names to build the database. The headbanging was due to the conversation between some members.
