Famous Quotes...

Hermann Goering "Why of course the people don't want war ... But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship ..Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger."
Source: Nuremberg Trials
Noam Chomsky Deluded and manipulated by the system. We're not analyzing the media on Mars or in the eighteenth century or something like that. We're dealing with real human beings now who are suffering and dying and being tortured and starving because of policies that we are involved in, we as citizens of democratic societies are directly involved in and are responsible for, and what the media are doing is ensuring that we do not act on our responsibilities, and that the interests of power are served, not the needs of the suffering people, and not even the needs of the American people who would be horrified if they realized the blood that's dripping from their hands because of the way they are allowing themselves to be deluded and manipulated by the system. -Noam Chomsky
George Bush, Sr. I never apologize for the United States of America, I don't care what the facts are.
George W. Bush When I was coming up, it was a dangerous world and we knew exactly who the they were. It was us versus them and it was clear who them was. Today, we're not so sure who the they are, but we know they're there.

Here are some...
Never forget that everything Hitler did in Germany was legal. -- Martin Luther King, Jr
The liberal civil rights establishment is the Klan with a tan. -- Walter Williams
If 50 million people say a stupid thing, it's still a stupid thing. -- David Severn
Utopians are like a rhinoceros trying to stamp out a forest fire. All too often in its frustration it becomes dangerous. Instead of realizing that their schemes are flawed, they begin to see their perfect society being frustrated by people. If we can get rid of only those people, then the scheme would work, they say, and the blood begins to flow. -- Charley Reese
Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God. -- Thomas Jefferson
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." (November 13, 1787) -- Thomas Jefferson
I?ve directed the full resources of our intelligence and law enforcement communities to find those responsible and bring them to justice. We will make no distinction between the terrorists who committed these acts and those who harbor them." (September 12, 2001) -- George W. Bush ..(not Jr, numbnuts)

I agree with almost every single one of those (except the one by Walter Williams) The ironic thing is, I could use those same quotes against what is happening in the U.S. these days. (except the last one obviously)

Why not add the "Sr." to your sig? Or does it not suit your purpose?
-------------------- You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

Because it isn't usually written with a Sr. When I read "George Bush" I don't think of George W. Bush. Do you? I'll change it if it is confusing you.
