daily energy?
    #8733808 - 08/06/08 01:29 PM (15 years, 6 months ago)

Does anyone know of any vitamins that will increase my daily energy and general well being?  I don't want to take caffeine, redbull, or anything else like that.  Im looking for something healthier

the b-vitamin complex will do wonders.

Those are all good answers so far. I'm just going to add in plain oatmeal, brown rice and things like that will add lots of energy. Any healthy complex carb will do good for energy.

Hemp has loads of b vitamins, combine it with fruit for vitamin C and you're pretty much set. You may want to add ginseng as well.

If you're not adverse to organic stimulants, consider the following:

Any sort of tea (Theobromine is longer lasting that caffine)
Ginko Bilboa
Kola Nut
Ephedra (contains ephedrine, pseduo ephedrine, amphetamine and methampethamine. There's also varieties of acadia plant that contain amphetamines.
Betel nut (puts a strain on the liver)
Iboga
Yohimbe
Coca leaves
small amounts of kratom
Or my personal favourite, hashish. Which for me is a potent, long lasting stimulant.

You want energy during the day? During shcool I was exhausted 24/7 but this summer things are quite different. I found that a clean diet and regular exercise help increase energy during the day. Another important aspect is sleep. If you allow your body to sleep for as long as it wants to then I don't think you will be feeling tired at all during the day.

yeah i work out daily now, in the summer, and have a fulltime job. I do eat pretty well and get on average 6-7 hours of sleep.  I can stay awake and whatnot, but I have a lack of motivation and energy near the end of work, and through out most of the day.  I have lots of energy when I get back from the gym though. Strange

In addition to what has already been named (b vitamin, kola nut, yohimbe, etc) ginseng helps me alot with energy, its stimulant for some people but not others though.

I recently started drinking whey protein supplements, and I feel great.  I figured my lack of energy was just from getting older, but I think I wasn't getting enough protein.  I don't eat much meat so I think thats how it happened.  25g worth in the morning and another 25g in the afternoon, and i feel like I'm 10 years younger.

Proper food, plenty of exercise, and a firm grasp of your mental processes will ensure that you have plenty of energy.

These are the big three, IMO.

Overthinking and worrying are exhausting.  :shakefist:

For energy I take flinstone vitamins, nodoz caffeine pills, I eat food, I exercise, and I sleep 7-8 hours a night. For exercise, I bicycle 15-20 minutes in the morning, and 30-40 minutes in the afternoon.
