I suspect the lack of correct drug intake in the general populace has led to a lack of respect to Mother Earth and females in general. :gethigh:

God made everything, everything is god.

Be excellent to each other, because no magical being is coming down to grant wishes.

Grok?

I have no clue what you would call what i believe in.

Same here, I also take from the whole Be Here Now and The Power of Now, which works for me. It's hard to say how i feel about religions though.  I think they can really help people but at this juncture of time, i think people like being part of the superior organize religion and live and die by their word.  The fact that some people "know" the word of god is bullshit to me because how can you understand something that exists in another dimension, and is more powerful, divine, and intelligible beyond your wildest thoughts...:whatever:  The world keeps turning, i just think some people need to get their head out of their ass and get over this whole my religion is better than your religion.

There is no way to know. But I have a feeling it wont matter in the end as long as what you believe in is good, and you are good as you can be in life. The details wont matter at all, because a good person does not need to fear death. I don't believe in a god that sends people to a hell, but i do believe bad people will live in their own hell they make for themselves. Guilt in passing, what they could not feel in life. Something like that.

I try to live every day as a good person, but im human and i make mistakes. They are my mistakes that i will make myself pay for if i don't deal with them here and now. I treat others how i woud want to be treated, and thats damn good. Do what you will, but harm none. Not even yourself. Thats hard to live by.

I have a hard time believing anything anyone preaches. they have personnal agendas, and i will not be apart of it. The nice thing about citing god as an authority is that you can prove anything you set out to prove. [Robert A. Heinlein, from If This Goes On-]

I’ve never understood how God could expect His creatures to pick the one true religion by faith—it strikes me as a sloppy way to run a universe. -Jubal Harshaw, Stranger in a Strange Land

The most preposterous notion that H. sapiens has ever dreamed up is that the Lord God of Creation, Shaper and Ruler of all the Universes, wants the saccharine adoration of His creatures, can be swayed by their prayers, and becomes petulant if He does not receive this flattery. Yet this absurd fantasy, withouT a shred of evidence to bolster it, pays all the expenses of the oldest, largest, and least productive industry in all history. -Lazarus Long, Time Enough for Love

Awesome.  I do that too.

I claim my Norse heritage.  I shy away from words like Odinism or Asatru because of their usage by racist "religious" groups.  Norse heathen reconstructionist something something sounds about right.

I guess I'm a Pantheistic predeterminist.

In other words I believe solely in cold hard physics, evolution, emergent complexity, quantum randomness and chaos theory, but that the universe(s) has a simple 'special' origin and perhaps a purpose.

I believe that free will is ultimately an illusion.

I also consider myself a very spiritual person.

I do not associate with any one religion but I do see the beauty in many religions. Taoism, Paganism, Shamanism, Buddhism primarily.

I believe in Creation of the Universe and that all things are one, we are all experiencing subjective realities of the objective, and we are all part of the whole. Our experiences combine to form the collective and physical life is a short incarnation of the soul in which we eventually return to the source from whence we came to merge with totality until "we" are ready to go out for another trip. Life was created, we are creators... and creation's goal is to perpetually evolve for eternity through life experience. So here we are.. all Gods of our own reality.. to learn and experience and evolve. We are responsibly for our own realities. Free will is a divine law.
As above, so below. The microcosm reflects the macrocosm and vica versa. An' if ye harm none, do as ye will.

But that's just my perspective, in a nutshell. I guess you could call it Shroomism, if it must be labeled. But the truth is it's more like Jeet Kune Do, in that it is formless.

I am against the idea of organized religion. It's just a way for people to make a buck and control others through fear. What do people fear, mostly? Death, because of its uncertainty. Religion takes those fears and turns them against you to maintain control over you.

No one really knows what happens when you die. Everyone has their guesses, and I certainly do, but I can't say anything for 100% sure, because I'm still alive.

I look at it 2 ways. When I am dead, I will either:

1. KNOW NOTHING,

or

2. KNOW EVERYTHING.

Either one is ok with me.

there is definatley something going on out there...people are right to cling to something...it is what gives one meaning and or reasoning in life...

My beliefs are so vague its hard to identify with just one.
I guess I sort of follow the Abrahamic tradition.
The only real special thing I do is I don't eat pork, and thats as much for health reasons as it is religious.
Beyond that, I try to help those less fortunate than myself, I help animals, try not to hurt anyone or kill anything other than mosquitoes or flies.  I try not to lie or steal.
I believe in Karma.
I may believe in reincarnation, I'm not entirely sure.  I think some people at least may.
I've practiced astral projection.  I pay close attention to my dreams, which more than once have protected me from getting arrested or getting in trouble with people.
Occasionally I read from the Bible or Koran.
