Meat effects a trip drastically

Ok so i just took some cubs about an hour and a half ago, before a meal.... and i consumed sausage as well as potatoes.... now i had read to avoid meats when taking mushrooms, because it apparently lowers ur energy vibrations or something... i dunno how it works.
All i know is i am having a very nauseous come up.... and i never do, unless i ate meat.
its starting to subside..... but does anyone have any tips to feel better? im prolly gonna smoke a bowl and lay down, hopefully will save this trip.

I say that it's best not to think about it too much. Thinking about things intensifies them.

man psychedelics make me more sensitive to food in general. Even acid can tie my stomache up in knots, and i'm vegetarian.

Stick to salmon and pork man. You'll feel soooo much better. Not just while tripping, everyday.

First (and only thus far) time I did shrooms I had recently eaten some beef.
Made the trip weak as fuck, was disappointing. Next time I'm eating them on a totally empty stomach.

Definitely agree with that...salmon and pork are right up there for me. However, I never have any adverse effects with beef/chicken...but I do prefer pork overall.

If you've only done shrooms once, how can you say so confidently that it was the meat that did it. Could have been anything, including simply the fact that you had eaten recently, not what you had eaten.

Oh I agree, I didn't mean to make a connection between the beef and the trip. It was just coincidence with the OP.
I'm fairly certain it had nothing to do with what I had eaten, but with the fact that I was full.
edit: Pretty sure it was also the fact that I was exhausted after a 6 hour drive.

Last week I ate Sushi (2nd time) right at the end of a crazy weekend rolling downtown TO. I remembered how strong my pshycosis powers can get in public; especially in an unfamiliar environment. I don't roll too often.
The awesome DARWIN Museum gave me an intense psychedelic glow. I wasn't even rolling during the day. The morning wake and bake was all I had before we caught the subway to breakfast.
Anyways after the Sushi (even though I gagged a tad bit) I had a literal craving for mushrooms; even though I knew I couldn't handle it under the circumstances of my older sober brother, with his boring sober girlfriend, and my wild little 10 year old brother. And all three of them are against drugs, big time.
Not really a point to all this other than the strong curiosity of Sushi before Mushies.
Anybody?

When I say rolling I literally meant MDMA.
I took two pills the day before; one in Canada's Wonderland, and one at night in my hotel room along with 7 beers.
Oh yah I don't go to Hotel Rooms much; is it okay to leave the empties in the fridge? I truly had no place to put them.

It's not bullshit, because ive read of shamans and they stick to a specific diet before venturing... they do not consume meats (besides fish, and chicken i think) alcohol and sugars 48 hours prior to the experience.
Anyways after about an hour the nauseous feelings subsided and i had a great trip....
But the comeup was honestly horrid.
