Making jars ahead

I know this has been explored on a short term basis, my question is using the two part lids on canning jars makes them perfect for long term storage, especially after boiling or pressure cooking. Wouldn't the substrate then last for more than a week+ by letting them vacuum seal as they cool?

I am talking about the lids that do not have holes in them.

I have a few set aside, I ran out of spores, and I figure if they are vacuum sealed and sterilized, they should keep right?

As long as they were properly sterilized they should keep, but I think sealing them like that was unnecessary.

yes I always steralize jars in large quantities and store them using the lids with the holes in them. I just leave the foil on the jars and they keep for a long time.

The bus came by and I got on that's when it all began!
