proper PH of casting material??

just wondering what the ph of my casting materal should be so as to better my portebella growing experience...... :grin:

it's casing not casting. and you want it to be more than 7.. chech out the 50/50+ casing tek it tells you to add hydrated lime and oyster shell to raise the pH.

yes but in the faq it says the ph of the casing should not go above 8......... :wink:
