Rehydrate Print

ok so ive been doing corn for a while now and ive just been trafuring Already colonized corn to other jars Bulk but it all started from a Mexi cub spore print now here is my Q i did some jars the other day and i had some Pan spore prints and i put them in new just done corn Jars and no colonization i dont liek useing syringes because ive had bad experices with them...

no im not a crack head just look up roof tek and so idk how to rehydrate the prints with out doing something stupid. id really love advise.

so you basically just scraped some print into a corn jar?  is that what your post is trying to say?

yeah it can work usually takes bloody ages to germinate tho allowing contams to take a hold, and if the print is not fresh it can take so long its not funny, hence the reason we use syringes, next time drop the spores on agar, then transfer till you are happy and use that to inoc the grain, it works the best for me :wink:

then you can G2G till your heart is content

Getting the spores INTO a syringe filled with water will rehydrate them. 

Dumping spores into your grain jars will not be effective.

I wonder if there's an equation that you could use to figure the mathematical probability of two spores meeting under these conditions and creating dikaryotic mycelium?

Well i dont want to put to much water into the jars because they already have a little in them and last time that happened there was mold :bongload:

i dont see how you would be able to scrape the print into the jar if it was 'hydrated' i would think it would just make the print too wet and it would not scrape off well.

use a syringe or either scrape in and wait to germinate.
