It doesn't look active to me. I would guess it's a type of saguaro. It looks very well cared for though.

Not a saguaro. The picture is too far away to identify, but its possible its a trichocereus of some kind. Not pachanoi though. Perhaps peruvianus. I'm not sure though, that growth habit is really odd. Its VERY possible that this is a stenocereus or some other trichocereus look-alike.

Hi, No, it's not my yard ,that's someone elses' . I asked the old lady for a cutting, but i guess she doesn't understand anything about entheogens.
thanks Murple, so is there a chance for psychoactivity ? I won't be able to post more pics. I'm gonna try to score something from the library.
Best Wishes.

Well, it could be psychoactive... I really cant tell without a close-up picuture. Its somewhat possible thats something like a Trichocereus macrogonus or peruvianus, which would be psychoactive... or it could be a Stenocereus, Browningia, Azureocereus, or some other similar looking plant which would just make you puke a bunch. If I had to guess, I'd say its probably is NOT a Trichocereus, because the growth habit is all wrong. My money is on it being one of the look-alikes.

Murple, don't tell me you're getting soft I detected no sarcasm, witticisms, or outright insults. Maybe you're going through a phase LOL

Yeah, Hermes, the growth pattern doesn't look right. Can you take a close up of say the top foot using some fill flash?
