ID Request - Melbourne, Australia (possible P. subaeruginosa)

Found this mushroom while wandering in the Eastern suburbs. Found in wet region near a path through a national park, at the base of a tree fern. Ive found similar mushrooms there before, always wondered what they are. All pics are from the same mushroom.
Habitat: tree fern rainforest, growing near the base of a tree fern, but not from the trunk.
Gills: Cream
Stem: White, darker/orange at the base
Cap: Caramel
Spore print: light, but similar to other subs - brown-violet.
Bruising: Problematic. Not enormous, a few spots on the cap, a bit of shade near the gills (could be spore drop). Touches, after a while, on the rim of the cap and the tips of the gills.
If it werent for the questionable bruising, I would call it a sub. I squeezed the stem quite hard, and from the second picture you can see that all it did was turn orange after a while.
Cheers!

I don't think that's a sub.

Right structure but i'm worried about there being no bruising

Looks like a Psilocybe to me and there appears to be bluing at some damaged areas on the cap.

The orange bruising on the stem is not indicative of a Psilocybe species though. Everything else does look right in regards to it be a sub, but the bruising is off.

The brusing is unusual and the apparent blue on the cap may be mold or something else. However, I've encountered Psilocybes that had brown bruising on the stem - unfortunately I've deleted those pictures from my gallery.
Hopefully, some others will weigh in.

Psilocybe weilii bruises this color on many specimens, check these pics out. Some of these never blued at all.

Interesting. Well at least the others bruise blue too. Without that final identification feature, I'd be hesitant about labelling it a sub.

Notice the brown bruising on the stem. Psilocybe cyanescens:

Hey all, Grabbed some new pictures of the semi-dried mushroom, and although the cap turned quite bluish, the stem stayed stubbornly orange. Took a spore print, and looked at it through the microscope - they looked like P sub prints. Check out the pictures.

Hey thanks! What are the microhabitat characteristics of yours? I thought that perhaps the pale colouring and strange bruising might be because of the tree ferns. The ground was really wet, not like the eucalypt mulch I normally find them in.
