Habitat: Growing in the Ohio/Indiana area in a large weed patch.
Gills: Pores not gills. Small pores.
Stem: Thick stem, twisting observed.
Cap: Large, thick, curved up.
Spore print color: Nothing?
Bruising: No observed.
Other information: Very big, largest I've ever seen. Nothing active has spores in this. So I might as well see if I can put it on a Pizza.

it's likely inedible. Taste a tiny piece and spit it out. If it's bitter as hell, you've got tylopilus.

I'm pretty sure the rule with picking wild mushrooms isn't "taste a tiny piece of it", because some mushrooms contain accumulative toxins.
If you don't know what it is with certainty, don't eat it. It's not worth the chance you'll get something toxic or fatal.

That is pretty big, but down here in Fla we get some that are as big as your standard dinner plate. They grow in the grass outside my aparment complex. But what ever it is, nice finds.

Putting a tiny piece in your mouth, and spitting it out after you get a quick taste will not kill you. Many do it.

It looks like it might be a stalked polypore to me because of the way the pine needles seem to be growing through it. Was it growing off wood? Is it kind of hard? White spore print?

It wasn't growing off wood, it was just in the middle of a field of weeds. No trees close. Those are actually blades of grass. Not pine needles. I'm stupid I should have removed them. I didn't do a spore print because I quickly knew it wasn't active because it had pores and not gills. But this thing is just big. Something like that just doesn't appear around here. If I was a little kid I would probably have nightmares about it. Just big. The pack of gum really doesn't do it justice in the pics for some reason. This has to be a oddity in the area.
Sorry I'm proud of my non-active, non-edible find. I'm yet to find anything active, so when I find something crazy like this. I get excited. Wait until I find something active, I'll be really excited.
