 Gettin tattoo worked on today! *UPDATE: Finished Tattoos - Pics Inside*

Ahh I'm so excited. I had the outline and 2 color sessions all within 1 month. I had to take a break because I was breaking out, but it's been a month and I'm finally getting more work done!
It's on my left thigh, and it runs from my knee all the way up to the groin area, and covers the entire front. I don't have any pictures here at work, but I'll post some later. It's a koi fish with waves and cherry blossoms. It's gorgeous. One of my best friends is the artist. All he had from a stencil was the outline of the fish and 3 waves over the face. The rest he drew on with a pen. It's amazing.
I'm also getting a Sagittarius tattoo on my right thigh today too. It's the centaur with a bow, only it's going to be a chick. Kind of like a pin up if you know what that is. A hot centaur. Im excited. They are both doing it at the same time... heh... i guess you can say im getting double teamed lol. I'll post pictures later tonight or tomorrow.
Anyone else got any cool tattoos?

Nice, does it have any symbolic meaning? I'm assuming you took that picture soon after the tattoo (it's shining from the bacitracin or whatever ointment you used... and your leg is also shaved)

That sounds like a crazy experience. I would love to see your Sag tat when it's all finished, you should take pictures and post them in this thread.
I don't have any current pics of mine, but sometime in the near future I would like to have my back tat colored in to match the Star. I was going to keep all my ink straight black, but ever since I got the shooting star, I feel so much more colorful. They are both by the same artist, and he would be the one to do the coloring.
I wish I had some different, more current, healed pics.  These are really old.

Very nice. The lower back tat... looks like an angel where the tribal is her wings? not quite sure. Either way, that definitely looks like a person in the center with her hands above her head and legs crossed at the ankles.
I like the colors of the star and the trails behind it. Very subtle, how they just follow the black trails. 
I'll be sure to post the pics. I'm debating on my sag tat, whether I want her breasts to be showing, or her hair to cover them. I'm thinkin have the hair cover them, seems more classy and modest.
Edit: I love chicks with tattoos... such a turn on. I don't know what it is.... but I just love it.

I thought you were a chick! I guess cuz I assumed the hot Centaur was a goddess type thing. That's what I get for assuming.
For your centaur, I would use her hair to cover up the boobies. Just because it gives it a little bit of class, you know? So many sailors and bikers have topless pin up babe tats... which is fine, to each their own. Topless can be artistic, trashy or both...it depends on the piece.
The tribal image on my back is a faery goddess...you were close! She keeps getting more and more badass with upgrades.

See... I was gunna just get a male centaur but my boy whos doin it was like "why do you want a male centaur... don't you want a hot female one?" i didnt even think of it till he mentioned it. Normally sag is a male centaur so it didnt even occur to me to make it female. being female will give it its own flare and personality though, not the basic sag.
I don't know whether to take offense to you thinkin i was a chick or not... heh.

I like the sag idea but I'd like to point out that it is very hard to shoot a bow with tits. Just look at the amazons that had supposedly cut off the right breast so it wouldn't get in the way of the bow string.
I'm a little nervous about my next tattoo. It's going on my ribs and I plan of making it look like my side is torn open but instead of muscle and bones I want to be filled w/ clock work and gears.

ahhh biomechanical art. thats cool. My friend who does a lot of black and grey work did a biomechanical heart, with circuit boards connected to the heart. It came out pretty cool. you want a good artist though to tattoo the torn skin... it can come out looking like shit if not done right.
the ribs suck, but its worth it in the end. a few hours of pain for a lifetime or art...

The ribs/sternum area around the heart is painful as a MOTHERFUCKER. Holy fuck, I've never experienced pain that extreme in my life.
The guy had to stop in the middle of mine, because I was in so much pain my legs were involuntarily spasming and shit and I was shaking.
You know how most tattoos just sort of sting for a bit, then you kind of go numb when the endorphins kick in? Yeah that never happened.. it was just pure excruciating pain the entire time. Maybe I'm just really sensitive in that area but goddamn. Note this was directly over the sternum where the ribs connect in the center.

yeah man... that spot is TERRIBLE. I've never experienced it, but I've been around a lot of people who have gotten that spot tattooed. my friend owns the shop so i hang out there like everyday so im around it a lot. This kid got a large ribbon w/ 2 birds holding it in their beaks. It was on his chest going from shoulder to shoulder basically. i could see the pain in his face, and he sat for a good... 3 hours at least.
take some pills b4 you get that spot tattooed!!!

OK, so I went to get my tattoos today, and the guy doing my new tattoo decided to tattoo someone else. no biggy, hes my boy and gives me an awesome deal so i cant complain. I did get my current tat worked on though, here are the pics...
The new work is done on the koi fish...the red work...
