Whats going on with my invitro bags?

I have several substrate bags (poo, verm, ect). They where inoculated with lc about two weeks ago and are fully colonised , and under light, but they won't fruit. There are white balls of myc forming on top.... What do I do to make them fruit?

Give them time.
I almost threw some cakes away today that I thought would never pin. They have been in the FC for over 2 weeks. Pins today.
They will do their thing.

Some fresh air would probably help too.

I have heard of people cutting them open so that they may fan them once a day.
Use tape to reseal it.

If your cake is fully colonized, then a little fanning shouldn't hurt.

make a slit in the bag and stuff with polyfil. then put a fan on a timer to kick on 2 times a day for 15 min. if yours has the filter patch then all you need to do is fan on timer.
these work great. fits in the closet. stays out the way. 3 different settings. blah blah blah.

Come on, man. I'm really lazy, but even I can make time to fan by hand.

There is probably nothing wrong with them, fruiting in vitro in bags takes FOREVER,and FOREVER is not an exaggeration at all, leave them alone and come back when you grandchildren graduate and they will be stuffed with deformed and squished together mushrooms

I exclusively fruit invitro, and it does NOT take forever, I would NOT recommend opening the bags whatsoever, all you have to do is squeeze the air out daily, and it will pull in fresh o2. (as long as you are using filterpatch bags.)
every strain i've ever done, has been invitro, and they all take about 9 days to pin, when I squeeze out air daily, if i don't they take MAYBE two weeks,
even cakes, casings, whatever method you use, it takes right about two weeks for anything to happen.
patience is a virtue in this hobby.

well, i can't see how if they weren't "Spawned" they would be ready in 2 weeks.
using LC to straight bulk manure, is just ludicrous, i know MonsterMitch has his signature bags that supposedly u can do this, but everyne i've seen with one has had utter failure. I took one of my buddies, and tore it open, and used some rye spawn, and it did INCREDIBLE, (put in one of my filter patch bags)
so, 6 of 1 half a dozen of the other i guess.

Actually the ones that colonized are starting to pin now. It's really, really hard to push the air out through the filter patch though. I don't want them to bust. And the ones that are colonised where colonised in about two weeks. Less really. And I used just lc straight to manure.

I think I read somewhere that you had some bad experiences with bags. I have also has some strains that simply didn't seem to like it in there. I don't know if it was humidity or not enough air, but they never pinned. Other strains have done very well. If they really took so long, I doubt as many people would be doing them.

Same for me. I think I read something about there being different kinds of filter patches and some were easier than others to push air through. I've always fanned and sprayed by hand after colonization was done. When I left them alone for days on end with no fanning or spraying, the fruit size and count seemed to suffer. I may try using a layer of perlite and hydrogen peroxide/water at the bottom to see if I can make my cakes last even longer.

I actually would like to give another bag grow a try just for the sole reason that I cant grow where I am and it would be a hell of allot easier to get someone to let me set up a bag grow at their place than setting up a greenhouse(The ONLY way I actually enjoy growing) I wouldn't have to tend to it much and I would be able to tell if anyone was messing with it while I was gone when ever I did get back around to checking on it
The few threads that I have seen on here where people have had success with injecting a bag and everything happens in the bag really intrigue me but just don't seem plausible and I cant have case after case of spawn jars sitting around colonizing while I wait to make the bags, who has some of the links to the threads I am talking about, you know the "Inject the bag and thats it" teks seriously I would love to hear some feedback from how people who have done this have actually gotten this method to work out for them

well I have like ten bags pinning like hell now. I don't know if the fruits will be because my poo was not shredded and has wood chips in it, but it's pinning like hell. I inoculated the bags with 20cc GT LC and let it ride, crumbled once. I'll use a rye patch next time maybe, but I'll definatley shred my shit. I just want mushies like MM!
