Hey moe, JaFf's tek was called massive mycellial corncob slurry.

I never got it to fruit. I don't think many others ever did either. A search may prove me wrong, but I played with this extensively at the time. It works as spawn, but I couldn't get it to fruit.

PM me with any cultivation questions.

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.

The tek produced a lot of very 'thin' spawn, which spread like wildfire for a day or so.

Then sat there, died and stank.

Maybe if we'd scooped up the spawn in the first day or so, and transplanted it into something a bit more nutritious, it might have got started, but the smell put us off trying that one again - just wasted a perfectly good PF cake.

Sasquatch, chances are you had some sort of mold growing there, cobweb mold more than likely. There is no way cubensis mycelium would grow that fast and then just die off. Plus, it wouldn't smell if it was good.

I have heard nothing but good things about corncob as a spawn medium, for quick spawn expansion. No good as a substrate though, but that is why it works so well: less food less chances of contamination.
