i'm a diy type of guy so i'm probably gonna go for some home ones. also i wanted put a storage container on the bottom tray with a hose connected back to the humidifier reservoir. And i figure if i put some fluoros on the top it wont penetrate to the lower racks enough, so i'll buy that led rope. i'm definitely going to keep everyone updated as this project progresses

yup I'm planning on getting one more of these monsters and going to attempt a massive bulk grow. I got about 30 garbage bags full of horse poo that needs to be used. I get paid next friday so i'm just looking for input on what to add to my shopping list.

You can get 7mil painters plastic dirt cheap at Wally World. $20.00 should cover your needs.

I really don't need pvc for framing. the cart itself will be the frame. I was thinking of taking measurements of it, cutting the proper sizes of plastic sheeting, glueing the pieces together with silicone and adding zippers for flaps. I was maybe going to use pvc to hook up to a bulk humidifier and run it throughout the greenhouse. the racks on those slide right of to, which is pretty cool.

I was picturing building a greenhouse around all 3 carts - were you going to wrap each one individually??
I think seams would ba a PIA, I'd try to wrap it like a xmas present, and add a zipper. YMMV.:)
let's see the pics when you do it.

Very nice for something you've rigged together out of hardware store bit and pieces. How well does it hold humidity, or have you not tested it? About the only thing I can think of for you to do is maybe cut several small slits in various places in the plastic to help aid FAE.
With coolmists running in those things, even with the slits, you'll be able to retain plenty of humidity, all while allowing fresh air to find its way in without you having to open that pain in the ass plastic quite so often.

i'm thinking of having the coolmist outside coming in. so i can get FAE thru the coolmist. i'm tryna find some type of bulk humidifier tek but the only 1 i've seen is kinda pricey. its a big greenhouse, but once every rack is filled with tub it shouldnt be hard to humidify the whole thing
