0-4lbs per square feet?

I been lurking on this forum awhile now trying to learn about how to grow.I have done cakes before but want to try my hands at sqaure foot growing because i read somewhere you can get 1 lb per sq ft dry. If this is possible what method would you guys think would work the best? I like the mono tubs methods but are there any other methods that maximize yield plus space while requiring no/low maintanence.
Basically the idea is to do all the prep work (substrate/inoculation/preparing bins if we go with the mono tub method) and then transferring them to a room that is 20x25 sq ft. which we figure we would use 200sq ft minimuim. This room is completely empty and stays between 50-80degress. there are no outlets nothing. If you guys can theorize on ideas to maximize the area of a 200sq ft that be great i been thinking about it for weeks. Money is no issue, so whatever methods you come up with great! also i know light is needed 12/12 at the end, but i think we can use some battery powered lighting.
also can a numbers guy come up with how much substrate and innouclation and bins or whatever else would be needed to start this and how much time it would take to prepare everything.
much appreciated and have fun thinking about it!

I guess my only question is... what do you need 200lbs of mushrooms for?

Don't forget to factor in how much money you'll have to spend on slides for that much spores! In my opinion, a maximum of three slides per strain will allow you to get all the mycological information you could use...

Dude, that shits a whole lot harder to do on that kind of scale. Trust me. Try one tub. I got carple tunnel syndrom from mixing so many tubs.

yo don't worry about time/effort/money. this thread is to theorize how to utilize a 200sq ft in order to maximize yield/space. we have a team of growers ready to go we just do not know how much of everything would be needed. do you think going mono tub style would be best or do you think building shelves and using trays would be better?
Please reply with ideas and any numbers you have figured out ie, if you say mono tub is best way to go then how many syringes would be needed to start with/inoculated jar, how much substrate would be needed etc...
maybe even plan out a timeline like week 1-3 prepare substrate/inoculate x amount of jars, week 3-4 prepare mono tub bins, week 4-6 grow period, week 7 harvest, week 8 flush. this is a bad example but you get the picture. maybe even do it down to the hour ie time to pressure cook x amount of substrate in order to fill x amount of tubs... you see where i am getting at.
we plan to be working from friday am-sunday pm non stop for like 6 months then at the end have enough shrooms for a "shroom day" and trip with so many people at once!

I think what you have is a team of dreamers, who think actual, experienced growers are going to hand you a blueprint for easy money. Sorry kid. Why don't you get a job and enjoy mycology as a hobby?

Monotubs the stackable kind. A lot of them.
This really wont work though for a first time grower and you will go to jail possibly bringing police to look into the shroomery.
So don't ask these stupid questions.
If you aren't smart enough to do it yourself you aren't smart enough to do it without getting caught.

im still waiting for someone to jump in and come up with a bunch of figures they pulled out of their ass in an attempt to stand out.
to the OP, if you want to grow mushrooms, read faq's and start with something small.

How many syringes needed?? Haha .. one ... if you know what you are doing!
A team?? That in itself is a stupid idea. Loose lips sink ships TOO MANY LIPS.
The amount of money/time spent into cultivating that many mushrooms is not worth it imho unless you have commercial growing equipment. You guys should do better things with your money, like open a baseball card and bubble gum shop. Much less work/overhead.
Also, 2 posts and you come in here asking for a list of materials, amounts.. what's next cost?? You are obviously to lazy to do anything for yourself so I doubt anything fruitful would come from your endeavor. GOOD LUCK!!
