Sterilizing Sryinge

I know a butane lighter and alchool flame work well with sterilizing with rubbing alchool solution
-but has anyone tried just sterilizing with a regular bic lighter and wipped off with alchool it leaves behind a sute residue and i was worried about possible contam risks......So if anyone has any success with this tek please tell........

I've done it with a regualr lighter, and just whipped of whatever black shit was on there with alcohol and it was fine.

Dont bother with the flame the alcohol alone does the trick.

Are you sure about that? I think that the spores inside the needle may be contaminated. The heat would kill them and the alc. would cool it off so good spores dont die.
