green and black, is this savable?
    #8700237 - 07/29/08 11:55 PM (16 years, 5 months ago)

i'm pretty sure the green is trich, the black i don't know if it's anything bad or not, just this casing look terrible and hasn't been fruiting much of anything at all after 2 weeks. is this savable or should it go in the trash or in an outdoor bed? since i didn't see the trich until the casing was pulled out of the FC what are the odds there's trich blowing around possible contaminating another FC i have cakes in? thanks

well that's not good to hear! before i saw the contam i opened the FC and fanned it with the lid and had a ceiling fan on it the room! shit! time will tell i guess. fingers are as crossed as they can be. so is there just trich or is that black goop a problem too?

well, i sprayed the room heavily with oust. got the tub out. had some bleach water in a spray bottle(one that makes a very heavy mist) cracked the lid and DOUSED it with bleach water, then put the tray as softly as i could into a trash bag, closed it and put that in another bag. sprayed the hell out of the tub again with bleach water and closed it up. i guess this is the part of the hobby that sucks!
