Ok so whats the consensus?
I am wondering which grains I should start using for my grows.
What are the pros & cons of the two.
For example,
Ease of use Contam resistance Colonization time Yield Potency Etc.
I know this may have already been asked more than once, but I like "Freash" information at times.
Anyone with experience with botch care to elaborate?

I just recently started using WBS for the availability of it and price since the worlds food markets are becoming more and more expensive by the day and the fact of the matter there is a growing rye shortage which has raised what I once payed $23 for a 10kg bag/20lb's I'd now pay $30.
a 18kg bag of wbs costs $13.99. The downfall with WBS is that it is harder to prepare and you may need to look around before you find a brand that is void of peanuts/corn alot of the Canadian suppliers add these to the WBS, it will work with corn but it will take longer to rinse and require the use of gypsum because of the starch the shredded corn releases but so far it works just fine. Peanuts and other additives are just a no go.
The prep involved is similar to rye just requires abit more rinsing then rye does with a extra rinse after the soak/simmer to get off the rest of the starch and what not.
With rye, its expensive, can be hard to find but is alot easier to work with. Contamination does not very between the two you so no difference there, because of WBS smaller kernel size it also allows for more inoculation points for a bulk sub but at the same time it fruits poorly if at all if used to grow off solely.
Rye beds will fruit just fine. As far as nutritional facts over the two I really have no idea but I cant see rye being any more nutritious then WBS since WBS contains a wide variety of mixtures of grains....
Meh, so far I'm going to say WBS for the win even though I haven't spawned any to bulk yet but the time is coming, rye has always done the trick just as well but with more spawn.
