Unless cubies really grow well where you live I think you're fighting an uphill battle on this one. For arguments sake, maybe the best way to do it would be to empty your syringe into a much larger volume that will completely [but not overly-] hydrate your 'patch' and mix. Even then, your environment has to be pretty shroom-friendly, and competing-fungi resistant. Nah, I don't think it would work. Much better to use your syringe to make a few little pf's or some such, crumble, scatter, mix.. Sort of a necessary jumpstart, and your environment still has to be within certain bounds.

You could probably use a little agar to get somthing outside going but I would NOT recomend squirting a perfectly good syringe on the ground and crossing your fingers.
