Is poly-fill a must?

is it absolutely necessary to stuff the holes i drilled in my G.C. with poly-fill? is this the stuff inside pillows? is there any place to buy it or do i need to mutilate a pillow when im drunk?

i get mine from a arts and crafts store its polyester filling, you can use tyvek in lu of pollyfill

I dont think its necessary to use poly-fill...i just use tyvek and flexible clear medical tape. Make sure the tape is breathable, then just put a piece of that tape over the hole you make when you inoculate.

sry i overlooked you post... i was talking about inoculating some type of jars...my bad...but even in this case you can still use tyvek which is free at your local post office instead of poly-fil.

If you're doing a monotub type of setup with 4 large holes on each side, I wouldn't go without polyfil. You can find polyfil at all of the "mart" stores- K-Mart, Walmart, Target, etc. Look in the department that sells craft supplies and fabrics. One cheap bag of it will last you nearly forever.
