Mad River said: OneMoreRobot: I really dig your indole tattoo. I don't really get the baseball diamond, especially the numbers don't make sense to me. Then again, I'm not a sports fan at all.
Each of the 9 fielding positions in baseball has a number attached to it.
1- Pitcher 2- Catcher 3- First Baseman 4- Second Baseman 5- Third Baseman 6- Shortstop 7- Left Field 8- Center Field 9- Right Field
What this does is actually creates a language. The story of a baseball game can be told with nothing but letters and numbers to describe plays. F9 means a flyball to the right fielder. 4-3 means a ground ball that rolled to the second baseman, who threw it to the first baseman. I love this about baseball, that I can read a bunch of plays in that order and narrate to you what is happening in the game.
edit: oh and thanks, I my indole ring

I have full colored sleeves, most of my right leg done, and one on each foot. Id have to get pictures a little later if anyone shows interest..ha. They include music pieces (as im a musician), "in memory" pieces, traditional pieces, etc. But a lot of the pieces I have were actually chosen strictly for being amazing artwork. My artist has sketches that hes done that I can look through..and use as influence/design. To me tattoos are also about collecting amazing artwork..just on your skin. Of course a lot of them follow a similar theme, but they all arent "personal" pieces by standard definition. I dunno..just thought id add my 2 cents.

Hey, the body's a beautiful thing. It can be a weapon, an instrument of pleasure, an instrument of pain, a shrine to excellence or a temple for gluttony.
Why not a canvas? Who cares if the design isn't of some deep, personal significance... if it's good art and you like it, then it's just as good IMO.

OnemoreRobot and drok have put some serious thought into their tattoos, The indole ring and Baseball Diamond
But the stack of skewered cars.... Classic and yet VERY original, where is that in this world anyway?
Experiences for me when working with flash on Clients isnt good, when I work flash I always always always end up tossing in more than my share of "flair" or originality, some people love this, but most stupid retarded walk ins from the street always seem to hate it. Once the piece is finished and they compare it to the flash they chose, they are like "the shading is different" or (my personal favorite)"Why isnt those 2 lines connected?" and a classic, "I wanted a thicker/heavier Outline" Thick heavy outline??!? thats a jailhouse tat blown out with age!!! Disconnected Lines... Artist Flair, the use of varying lines to create depth or realism... oh and I guess I should say that i am seriously stuck into Realism... Realism in tattoos is my best features... Heres an Example
This is my work, it is original and if i see someone besides the clien who got it with this tattoo... I WILL SERIOUSLY SKIN SOME MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!! Also very proud of my New Weapon of the trade. I just had this made for me... Its custom, Its 1 off and Its MINE!
I need to get a better pic of it

I don't even know what that means.
I'll get a tattoo eventually, when I figure out what the fuck I want. I'm not in shape so I don't want anything on my biceps or back or chest or anything. Probably go with my calf until I get my shit together (if I ever do.) Probably some Bob Dylan lyrics. Words aren't good on legs though in my opinion.

I don't know, but I always thought Iowa was more mountainous than Colorado, so I figured it would be a good guess.

Umm... dude no, Pikes Peak is in colorado and its the biggest mountain around these parts at like 15,000 or 17,000 feet.
Colorado is more than half mountains, hell the foot hills really start way out in kansas... ever heard of "rolling hills"? those are the "foothills" to the Rocky Mountains.
Iowa mountains are hills to me

Maybe you guys have never been too Iowa, but as far as I know it's like the highest average above sea point state in the Eastern Hemisphere.
