Good with a soldering iron? I need a little work done.

I have the components to fix this, but my soldering skills just aren't up to the task. It's two of what's pictured above and 18 points each.
I'll get another picture later with something in it to show scale.
It would require those parts being removed, the new ones soldered in and then what appears to be a thermal paste applied and securing it to the heatsink. I'll arrange for the round trip shipping and supply the paste. I'm hoping someone whom I'm familiar with on from here is interested as I'm reluctant to trust someone strictly on their word. Something about your experience soldering or good trade rating would be helpful.
I don't even know if anyone would be willing to do it, but if so give me a price and we'll see if we can work something out.

Do it yourself, it's the easiest thing. But what do you mean by "It's two of what's pictured above and 18 points each"? 18 points of what? Just soften the solder with your iron and scrape it away with a wire brush. Then remove the old parts, put the new parts in place with the wires cut to length. Then, using the right solder, heat the leads and the contact point and apply the solder until it flows. It's a good idea to clean your wires and surfaces with a wire brush before soldering.

Just practice with some junk electronics you have laying around, it really is easy once you get a little experience and it's a good skill to have.

QFT, you owe it to yourself. If you screw up just use de-soldering braid or a vacuum syringe to remove the mess and start over. Use heat sink clips on any heat sensitive components (i.e. ICs and transistors) so that you don't have to worry so much about your heating times. Soldering is an art but can be adequately performed with a minimal amount of hands-on training.

Well, I guess that settles it. Seriously, that had been my plan all along. I even bought a new variable temp iron and the components to do it. But I've had the big screen tv sitting in the garage for - WOW, I just had to check my old threads to see - a year now. My girlfriend is getting very impatient and just wants to chuck it, but I refuse.
I hate throwing anything away even if it is broke, but much more if I know what's wrong and how to fix it.
But you are all correct, it is a skill I need to learn and now is as good a time as any.

get a solder sucker if you have to desolder connections. it will save you a lot of time that would be spent hunting out shorts.

If I had my pencil iron still I'd do it for free. That job looks like fun.
